My client is a well-respected high growth business with interest across Engineering, Construction, Manufacturing and, Service, Sales & Distribution.

As a result of both continued growth and promotion FRS have been enlisted to assist with the recruitment of a Part Qualified or Qualified.

Reporting into the Group Financial Controller, this position will be based from the site based in West Leicestershire operating as Management Accountant for 1 or 2 SME Divisional Businesses based within the UK.

Job Responsibilities
• Fixed asset administration and audits
• Participate in monthly, quarterly, and year end close processes
• Performs Cost Accounting functions such as reconciling inventory, recording journal entries for inventory, analyzing standard costs, manufacturing variances and analysing excess and obsolete inventory
• Preparation of month end journal entries and reconciliations
• Preparation of monthly forecast vs actual reporting
• Process VAT submissions and reconciliations
• Complete monthly payroll process
• Support internal and external audits as required
• Reports on daily performance of the business vs Forecast: Orders, Sales, Manufacturing Profit
• Monitoring and reporting internal KPI’s and to provide commentary on findings.
• Special projects / Ad Hoc reporting as assigned including process improvements, new reports to streamline reviews

This position promises to be both varied and progressive with excellent opportunities to move into a Finance Manager position (should candidates wish) within 12-24 Months.
