Our client is a well-respected group of businesses operating within the Construction & Electrical Engineering industry with a UK Wide presence and naming a number of high profile / household businesses as clients.
As part of the companies continued expansion within the Midlands Region FRS have been enlisted to assist with the recruitment of a commercially focused qualified accountant to join the business as Finance Business Partner or Financial Controller
This position will report into the Group CFO who works across the UK however the successful candidate will have focus for the Midlands based business unit within Cradley Heath.
Role Focus –
• Partner effectively with Business Unit Head to provide financial modelling and analysis
• Work closely with Business Unit Head on strategic financial planning
• Lead quarterly forecasting/budgeting for business unit
• Prepare and analyse monthly financial reporting for business unit
• Balance sheet reconciliations and ownership of the P&L and balance sheet for business unit
• Implement Group financial processes and controls into business unit
The ideal candidate will be formally qualified (ACA / ACCA / CIMA) and ideally have experience gained within a similar commercially focused Accounting Position (Management Accountant, Commercial Accountant, FP&A) with experience gained within the Construction / Engineering Industry being a major advantage.
Those that are newly qualified or in the later stages of qualification or QBE but demonstrate relevant expe4rience will be considered.
