Our client is a well-respected and high growth PE backed business operating within the Financial / Professional Services Sector.

With ambitious plans for both lateral and acquisitional growth, FRS have been enlisted to assist with the recruitment of an experienced and qualified Finance and Strategic Leader to join the business as Finance Director

Working closely with the CFO and CEO, this position will be based within the East Midlands with Hybrid working offering and occasional requirement for wider travel to other locations.

Key Responsibilities:
• Strategic Guidance: Collaborate with the executive team at the highest level, providing financial insights and recommendations to influence strategic decisions and drive sustainable growth.
• M&A Expertise: Leverage your experience in transactions and M&A activities to navigate complex financial landscapes and support the company”s “Buy & Build” strategy.
• Strategic Partnership Management: Cultivate and manage key relationships with external stakeholders, including funders, investors, credit providers, regulators, and other relevant parties.
• Coaching and Mentorship: Develop and lead a team of finance professionals, fostering a culture of growth, continuous improvement, and accountability.
The ideal Candidate
Proven track record in a leadership role within a Financial or Professional Services Business, Previous PE or PLC Exposure desirable but not essential.
• Professional financial training (ACCA/CIMA/ACA or equivalent), with cross-industry experience, preferably including Financial Services exposure.
• High-level FP&A experience, with an ability to elevate the analysis to feed into strategic decision-making.
• Successful involvement in transactional activities, especially M&A, showcasing your ability to navigate complex financial landscapes.
• Strong coaching and mentoring skills, fostering team development and growth.
• Exceptional strategic thinking and the ability to influence at the board level.
