FRS are recruiting a Bookkeeper for a business operating within the Construction sector & based in Edgbaston. The business are looking to recruit an all rounded finance professional who can start either immediately or within 1-2 weeks” notice. This role has the ability to turn permanent during the 3 months contracted period.
Suitable candidates will have relevant experience within an SME environment, have used Sage previously & have experience of working with an external accountancy firm. This role will cover an array of transactional finance duties & report into the MD.
Duties Will Include:
• Purchase and Sales Ledger
• Data entry into Sage 50
• Supporting with VAT queries
• Raising, sharing & logging invoices with customers & suppliers
• Resolving any queries raised from customers or suppliers
• Processing Expenses, Rebates and Payments
• Assisting the MD & external accountants with their month / year-end duties
• Answering telephones/emails and dealing with queries
• Chasing payments over the phone and via email
