Our client is a high growth business operating within the Manufacturing and Construction industry with a European Parent Company and UK Head Office ideally location in Tamworth Staffordshire and therefore easily access from across the East and West Midlands using A5 / M42 and especially so given the companies Hybrid Working offering.

As part of the companies continued expansion alongside internal promotion, FRS have been enlisted to assist with the recruitment of a Assistant Management Accountant on a full time permanent basis.

Due to the salary level, this position is likely to be suited to a QBE or Part Qualified Accountant working towards AAT / ACCA / CIMA (Study Support Offered)

Reporting directly to the Chief Accountant this person will assist with the day to day running of the finance department.

The Assistant Management Accountant will need to work collaboratively with a number of team members in finance and the wider team.

Key responsibilities
• Produce monthly management accounts with support of Chief Accountant
• Balance sheet and bank reconciliations
• Bank postings and reconciliations, Cashflow forecasting
• KPI reporting / Produce monthly flash reporting
• Assist in audit and year end processes
• Statutory submissions PAYE/ CIS / AOE / VAT
• Maintain a record of project profitability and provide updates to Operations and Sales teams on live projects
• Assist with Purchase Ledger, Payments and Supplier Recs
• Processing credit card transactions
• Ad hoc duties as requested at month and year end.

Proficient in the use of all MS Office applications, finance systems (experience with Sage desirable) and digital communications
Excel skills up to VLOOKUP/SUMIFs level
